This week’s bright spot is a 100-mile PRAYER walk challenge!

Mayor Battle has once again issued a 100-mile Walking Challenge to the residents of Huntsville to encourage people of all ages to add physical activity to their daily routines over the next three months (Sept. 1 – Nov. 30).  To help get people moving, Healthy Huntsville has organized a series of community walks.
OCOAH would like to add our challenge as well — that is to turn these 100 miles of community and personal walking into Prayer Walks!  What a great opportunity for you and a prayer partner to get exercise, fellowship time, and prayer walking done in strategic locations of our city.  It will be a good time to see and pray for our mayor and other city leaders who welcome the walkers at each location.   To see the complete list of dates and locations and to register to participate as an individual go to
As the Body of Christ in this city, we want to be alert to plug into opportunities that are created by city leaders and organizations that are healthy, family-friendly events.  We bring the love and light of Jesus!  So let’s get out there and walk and distribute more of Him everywhere we go!
