A City of Revival and Gathering

We Dream…

That praise be on the lips of each person’s tongue.

That all would acknowledge Him and be thankful for He has done. “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.” Psalm 150:6 (NASB).

That the next generation, even children not yet born, may know and trust in the Lord.

“That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, that they may arise and tell them to their children. That they should put their confidence in God. And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments.” Psalm 78:6-7 (NASB)

That salvation will come to those in our city who do not know Christ.

“That a people yet to be created may praise the Lord. For He looked down from His holy height; From heaven the Lord gazed upon the earth, To hear the groaning of the prisoner, to set free those who were doomed to death.” Psalm 102:18-20 (NASB)

For a fast of humility.

That we would begin to humble ourselves in the way we respect and honor each other. For reconciliation between people and God and between people who have hurt each other. “Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; You will cry, and He will say ‘Here I am.’ If you remove the yoke from your midst, the point of the finger and speaking wickedness.” Isaiah 58:9 (NASB) “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.” 2nd Corinthians 5:17-18 (NASB)

For people who have lost hope to have hope restored.

That they may regain strength and not grow weary. “May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.” Psalm 33:22 (NIV) “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:13-14 (NIV) “You wearied yourself by such going about, but you would not say, ‘It is hopeless.’ You found renewal of your strength, and so you did not faint.” Isaiah 57:10 (NIV) “But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you.” Psalm 39:7 (NIV) “As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.” Psalm 71:14 (NIV)

That those in bad times or seasons of depression will come out, find complete healing, experience joy and praise Him.

“Remember my affliction and my wandering, the wormwood and bitterness. Surely my soul remembers and is bowed down within me. This I recall to my mind, Therefor I have hope. The Lord’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:19-23 (NASB) “Those who sow in tears will reap with joyful shouting.” Psam 126:6 (NASB)

That we will assemble together to praise His Name, not just in church, but in any place.

That there would be revival and gathering of believers in our city. “Blessed is the nation whose God is Lord.” Psalm 33:12 (NASB) That God reigns in this city. That we would rejoice in our future and not fear. God has set eternity in our hearts; that our rejoicing would effect the way we live. That people are more bold in their faith, that this is a time of personal testimony to declare what the Lord has done. “I will come with the mighty deeds of the Lord God; I will make mention of your righteousness, Yours alone.” Psalm 71:16 (NASB)

“God be gracious to us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us – Selah. That Your way may be known on the earth, Your salvation among all nations. Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You.” Psalm 67:1-2 (NASB)
