Tell us about yourself.
Husband to Annaliese, father to Garrett, Gavin, Gideon and Gibson, and Campus Pastor of Daystar Church in Madison.
What motivates you to do what you do?
Every person is born with a built-in hope for purpose and a place to belong. That motivates me to help people discover their purpose and connect with others in a meaningful way.
What is God speaking to you right now?
Dream and keep on dreaming. But don’t stop at dreaming. Chase the dream. If we can accomplish the dream without God then the dream isn’t big enough.
What does unity in our city mean to you?
Unity is celebrating each other. It’s getting past our own desires and selfish ambitions to consider others better than ourselves. Unity is believing the best in each other and celebrating the differences in diversity. It’s locking arms with others to accomplish something bigger than ourselves.
Please pray for our city.
Father, thank you for every good and perfect gift that you have poured out on our community. You’ve been good to us. I ask you now to make yourself known in a greater way. To those who are self-righteous and can’t see their need for a savior, reveal your love and power to them. I pray for those who are stuck in a cycle of poverty that you will shine your light of hope on their situation. Give them favor and breakthrough in their finances. I lift up those who are battling addiction. You are the only one who can fill the void in their lives. You are greater and stronger than disease. I thank you that your healing power is covering those with affliction right now. We pray, in Jesus name, that you will break the generational sin of racism and bring reconciliation in Huntsville and Madison. You are our hope. Revive the hearts of the lost, rebuild the hopes of the oppressed and restore the joy of our salvation in Jesus name, amen.
