Prayer for Our City: April 25, 2016-Education

“Their purpose is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise. Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair. Their purpose is to give insight to the simple, knowledge and discernment to the young.” Proverbs 1:2-4 NLT

We lift before You, Father, those in Huntsville/Madison County who watch over the education of our children. Thank You for those serving on the School Boards who give of themselves to serve us in this way. We bless them and ask You, Lord, to guide each of them and enable them to be a voice of wisdom and encouragement to each Superintendent.

Thank You, Lord, for our Superintendents. We appreciate their commitment and hard work. We ask You, Holy Spirit, to encourage them in their mission to provide a quality education that prepares all children for a successful future. Cause them to believe that Your plans and purposes for our children’s futures are the best!
