“The Rejection Gang” by April Boddie

Rejection long ago left a stain on me; I was uninvited to something that I wanted to go to so desperately.

I was left uninvited and that’s when my demons united.

Rule #1 Don’t Give your demons no friends, because they will play & that’s where destruction begins.

Uninvited & Rejection linked arms & hung out for a couple of days until they ran into perfection.

Perfection is a bully solo

but a beast with friends.

This Trio got the real ball rolling, because where there are two or more of this kind there will be some spirit controlling.

Daily these three worked tirelessly together

to make it rain misery despite the sunny weather.

Soon they took to social media and here was the birth of THE Gang! For the 4th member was fame.

“You see my followers, look at me!” Welcome to the gang Pride, Comparison, and Vanity.

Looking back I guess I had no clue that little old rejection would be fuel that made this gang do what it do.

The next to show up was selfishness and it was the glue that would bind, for it breeds narcissism of all kinds.

The next time you are rejected please let it go & move forward with your life or you will be the newest member added to the gang and your name will be strife.

You will see as you mature, that Gods grass is always greener with or without your manure.
