Arts Huntsville Board President Gary T. Whitley, Jr.and Exec. Dir. Allison Dillon-Jauken awarding a 2018 Arts & Cultural Grant to Merrimack Hall

“… whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”  I Cor. 10:31

Last week Arts Huntsville awarded $100,000 in Arts & Cultural Grants funded by the City of Huntsville.  We thank You, Lord, for our city leaders’  continued support of Huntsville’s arts nonprofits, and for the revenue these organizations help generate for our community.   We bless the ongoing work of Arts Huntsville Exec. Director, Allison Dillon-Jauken, and agree with her prayers that the art of our city would bring glory to You, Father God.

Thank you for the work of the Arts Huntsville Board and for our 3,900 local artists – both professional and avocational performers, musicians, writers and visual artists who participate in the grant-funded projects.  Continue to bless and expand this cultural programming that provides public access to arts and expands the arts education opportunities for the children of our community. [For full report see http://www.artshuntsville.org/featured/arts-huntsville-awards-2018-arts-cultural-grants/]

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others…”  I Peter 4:10
