“If anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW creation.” (2 Cor 5:17)

This is OCOAH’s opportunity to share the places where the lives in our city have intersected with Christ, the places where our story meets His epic story. The word “new” in the Greek is kainos which means “unused, unworn, uncommon, unheard of, of a new kind, unprecedented, recently made, fresh” if that helps gets your mind going. This is an invitation to let HIS light shine through us!

*Just like the woman at the well, the woman healed from bleeding, the leper, and the paralytic…they tell HIS story through their testimonies! And we do too!

“From that city many of the Samaritans (Huntsvillians) believed in HIM because of the word of the woman who testified, “HE told me all the things that I have done.” (John 4:39)

“And they have defeated him(the enemy) by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony.  And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.” (Revelations 12:11)

OCOAH wants to encourage you to spend time with God and find YOUR OWN VOICE in this. Pray and ask Him to give you the words. Your journey is unique to you and to Jesus!

Remember, this is your spiritual journey. Talk about your heart. We want to encourage complete transparency. Your transparency is beautiful! The struggles and hard parts that Christ has redeemed are what will resonate with others and give HIM glory, which is the purpose.

You are a new creation and someone whose words can bless others in a powerful way. Thanks for letting your light shine and for being His instrument of hope in others’ lives. For letting Him be the author of your story and for bringing Him glory.

Pray for revival for the people of God, in the church. And pray for a spiritual awakening as a result of this.
    God bless you.
