“Arise: Shall We Gather at the River” by Pam Graves Turney
Weekend getaways with other like-minded women have been a spiritual rhythm in my journey for at least the past twenty years. What began for me in Dallas, Texas in 2000, we continue March 6-8 at Quail Creek in Hartselle, Alabama, just off the I-65 exit.
Shall We Gather at the River 2020 is a unique experience for women to come away and be with the Lord. We are an interdenominational group of women who are passionate about Jesus Christ, hunger for more of the Holy Spirit, and committed to discipleship.
Although we aren’t meeting “by a river”, we are preparing for a weekend experience that yields “streams of living water flowing from within” as we come surrendered and seeking deeper intimacy with Christ. We are gathering with the River of Life Himself as we expectantly anticipate the power and presence of God to come and dwell with us.
In a world of distractions, disenchantments, and disillusionment, women need a space to recharge and remember the source of their strength. Whether you are in church ministry, secular vocation, a full-time mom, single or married, we would love to get to know you better and to minister to you next month.
