Psalms 150 “Praise Him with..the trumpet…harp…timbrel and dance…stringed instruments and organs..upon the high sounding cymbals. Let ever thing that has breath praise the Lord.”

For 40 years the Von Braun Center has been the cultural center for Huntsville and the region. We thank You, Lord, for those who had the vision to plan and provide this facility for the enhancement of civic life, and we pray for those You are raising up to take our arts and entertainment to the next level. We bless Steve Maples, Exec. Director, and his staff as they schedule and oversee all programs and events. Guide them to make God-honoring, family friendly choices. Thank You for the new Family Fun Festival & Expo. We pray for many more creative ideas that will bless our families, and we invite You, Holy Spirit, to be the VIP at every function! May Your protection cover all the sporting events and shows.

We bless the seven member Board of Control over the VBC which are appointed by our Mayor and City Council. Give wisdom and guidance in evaluating what facilities should be renovated and where more space should be added; especially in regard to a new hotel/convention center. We appreciate and ask blessings on the 400 VBC full-time, part-time and contract employees for their dedication and hard work.

May the VBC continue to be a quality venue for so many of our Christian conferences and banquets – a safe place for many God-honoring events for years to come.

“Lord, we don’t know what to do, but our eyes are on YOU!”( 2 Chron. 20:12)

Jesus, what the enemy meant to destroy with in Paris, will You please save many lives instead! Those who lost there lives this side of Heaven did not die in vain. Their lives here will never be forgotten and we pray many will come to know Christ through the legacies they left behind!

Amen
