Prayers for Our City: May 16, 2016

As we thank You, Lord, for the Arts & Entertainment mountain of influence in Huntsville/Madison County, we cover Lowe Mill, the largest privately owned arts facility in the United States with 132 working studios for over 200 artists and makers, 6 art galleries, a multi-use theatre, and performance venues.
Father, we thank You for the talents and giftings this group of artists have received from You. We pray and believe there will be a desire born in each artist, actor, writer, designer and musician’s heart to honor You with their talents. We ask You, Holy Spirit, to go to the point of each of their deepest personal need and give them a revelation of Jesus as we bless them.
Thank You for the family spirit You promote among the artists as they learn and collaborate with each other and share their love of art and creativity with the guests that visit their shops. May Your love and purity cleanse and cover this historic building and the entertainment events that are hosted there. We invite You to be the guest of honor at every Concert on the Dock, the summer Open Air Market, the Cigar Box Guitar Festival and each class and performance given.
Thank you for giving the original vision and desire for creating this haven for artists to Jim, Susie and Jimmy Hudson.
We bless and pray Your guidance and wisdom for Lowe Mill’s Executive Director, Marcia Freeland, and her team: Matt Bakula, Event Coordinator; Aaron Head, Gallery Coordinator; and Sarah Cole, Media Director.
