Prayers for Our City: November 11, 2019 – Arts
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being.” Revelation 4:11 NIV
Thanking You this week, Father, for our fantastic Arts Huntsville organization which has been supporting the creative arts in this region for 56 years. We are excited to hear of their recent decision to eliminate membership fees to “Provide open, inclusive, and barrier-free access” to better support artists and arts organizations. So we bless our local artists, musicians and arts organizations and pray that they will not only connect to the promotional, educational, networking, and marketing support available through Arts Huntsville, but that they will connect with You in wonderful heart transforming ways that will fully release the creativity You placed within each one of them!
We bless Allison Dillon-Jauken, Executive Director, and the growing staff at Arts Huntsville with the vision and energy they need to continue advancing the arts, entertainment, and culture to enrich the quality of life, education and economic development in the greater Huntsville metropolitan region.
We pray over Panoply 2020 and call in those artists and performers that would be best for impacting our children and all who attend. (Application deadline is January 10.)

And, Lord, our prayer is always that our God-given talents and abilities will glorify You, our Creator. (Pray in agreement with this beautiful “Prayer for Creatives” by April Boddie.
