Prayers For Our Local Pastors – February 27, 2017

Thank You, Lord, for my pastor (the pastoral team at my church) and all the pastors of Huntsville/Madison County. We bless them!
We pray for each one to be equipped and empowered by Your Spirit in their calling and gifting. (Heb. 13:20-21) Give them discernment and sensitivity to what is pleasing to You. (Phil. 1:9-11) May they continue to know and live in Your unconditional love, Father, and the freedom of Jesus. (I John 3:1-2 Gal. 5:1) Pour Your Spirit upon them in power and humility, giving fresh intimacy with Jesus.
Keep them true to their God-given purpose in ministry and help them guard and prioritize their time. (I Cor.15:58) We bless them with joy, peace, and victory in ministry in spite of difficulties, pressures, circumstances and people.(Phil. 4:6-8, II Cor. 1:9-12) Cause deep friendships with other pastors to grow as they watch together over the spiritual climate of our city and region. We bless and honor them.
